OYWA is your personal archive of the places you've been: cities, hotels, restaurants, beaches, monuments. It's not a social network and it's not a guide. It's your travel memory, tidy and always with you.

What you can do

One place for every place you've been.

You save a place only once. Every time you go back, you add a visit with its rating.

The map

Your whole world at a glance.

The map is the app's home screen. Each category has its own colour and icon, and at the top you instantly see how many trips, cities and countries you've collected.

  • Category filters: tap to hide, long-press to show only that one.
  • Search your places, cities and countries.
  • Open a place in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
Quick add: after the rating, the app only asks for the restaurant's name

At a restaurant? Save it in three taps.

Long-press the category icon and pick a rating and price. GPS finds the location, city and country; the date and your current trip are added automatically. You just type the name: everything is saved.

Stamp ratings

Remember what you really loved.

Restaurants, hotels, bars, ice-cream shops and beaches are rated with a stamp, like in a passport: Poor, Average, Great or Excellent. You can add the price range too.

  • Every visit has a month, year, rating and notes.
  • Link the visit to a trip, for example “Summer in Sicily”.

Watch your world map fill up.

The countries you've visited are coloured on the world map, with a percentage for each continent. Categories unlock badges with three levels: Stamp, Visa and Passport.

OYWA has no server collecting your travels. Your places, visits and ratings are stored on your device.

  • Everything on your phone. No account, no login.

  • Back up whenever you like, in a file you keep.

To show the map and search for places the app uses OpenStreetMap. What is sent, and when, is explained in the privacy policy.
